Happy first day of February, all! The days are getting longer, and the light is returning...when it's not pouring down rain for two weeks straight anyway. In the sky tonight you can see Jupiter setting very low in the southwest an hour after sunset just as Mars is rising through the stars of the constellation Cancer. Point your binoculars toward Mars and you should also be able to make out the stars of the nearby "Beehive" cluster. Or just take a peek here at my list of current inspirations. You can play along too: please leave something that is currently making you happy in this post's comments, and we will all enjoy.
I'll get things started:
- The Clientele's new album Bonfires on the Heath
- Want to see the always-awesome Mission Street Food open a full-time charitable restaurant? You can become an investor.
- San Francisco's Privately Owned Public Open Spaces (POPOS for short)
- MIXKO's hand-crafted accessories, particularly their cool ceramic rings
From last month's comments:
- No comments last month! I think everyone was still recovering from the holidays. I know I was.
